Before law school, Chris served six years in U.S. Naval Special Warfare as a Special Warfare Combat Crewman with Special Boat Team 22, deploying to multiple hostile countries. Wise & Associates is a veteran-owned firm.

Law and the founding of the firm

Chris earned his law degree from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 2018 and founded Wise & Associates in 2020 to practice family law only. The firm opened its Nashville office, Wise Law, to handle Tennessee cases.

Staged flat fees

Chris developed the firm's staged flat-fee structure, which replaces hourly billing with a set upfront fee and separately priced stages for mediation, court appearances, and trial.
