This policy explains what information Wise Law LLC, doing business as Wise & Associates in Louisville, Kentucky, and Wise Law in Nashville, Tennessee, collects through www.wiseafl.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. The firm does not sell your personal information.

1. Using this website does not create an attorney-client relationship

Information you send through this website, including through the booking calendars or the chat and text widget, does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only by a signed engagement agreement. Please do not send confidential details about your case through the website before you have spoken with an attorney.

2. Information you give us

Booking a consultation. When you book through the online calendars, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the office and time you choose, and anything you type into the booking form.
Chat and text messages. When you use the chat and text widget, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and the messages you send.
Phone calls. When you call either office, we keep a record of the call and the information you share.

The booking calendars and the chat and text widget are provided by LeadConnector, which stores this information on our behalf.

3. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site uses cookies, pixels, and similar tools that collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how you arrived at the site, and actions you take, such as clicking a phone number or booking a consultation. When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept, reject, or choose which of these tools run. These tools are provided by the following companies:

When you arrive from a Google ad, Google may show a forwarding phone number so calls from the ad can be measured; Google receives call details such as the calling number, time, and length.

Untitled: to build advertising audiences for our programmatic (demand-side platform) advertising and for our email marketing. Other advertising: You can manage ad preferences in your Meta and LinkedIn account settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info.
Marketing emails: Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also call either office to be removed.
Texts: Reply STOP to any text message.

8. Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We keep information as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and as required by law and professional rules.

9. Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
